We are pleased to announce that our home game against Plymouth Argyle raised a fantastic £11,000 for the Joey Beauchamp Foundaton.
Joey, a club legend, died a year ago but the club continue to support his family and £1 from every ticket was donated to the Foundation.
When the club’s side of the Fifty/50 draw was added, plus auction items, the amount raised came to just over £10,000 which the club raised to a highly appropriate £11,000 for a player who always wore the Number 11 with pride.
Our thanks to everyone who came to the game or donated. Joey always supported the club and we will always support his family while also continuing to raise awareness on mental health issues.
