Oxford United are pleased to welcome James Krause to the club as he becomes our new First Team Coach Analyst.
James joins the club after 8 years at Arsenal, most recently as Lead Football Analyst in the First Team, having previously worked at Ipswich Town.
His role is a hybrid between coaching and analysis and whilst overseeing the analysis provisions at the club, he will also spend a lot of time on the grass at the Training Ground.
He told us
“I’m really excited to be joining the club. The opportunity to work with the manager was a big factor for me, but also the ambitions of the club made it an exciting proposition. I’ve been really impressed with the set up since arriving and believe the foundations are in place to be successful this season.
“Everyone has been great making me feel part of the group straight away and hopefully I can play my part in getting us to where we want to be”
Liam told us
“Fans naturally focus on new signings but this is a fantastic appointment and the fact that James is prepared to leave a senior role with the Arsenal First Team to join us, and to uproot his family and move to the area at the same time, is a huge thing for us.
“On and off the pitch we are all moving in the right direction and I believe he will be a great addition to the backroom team.”.
