Around 400 fans had fun in the sun today as we held our Open Day at the Bangkok Glass Training Ground.
Fans were able to watch a special training session put on by Liam Manning and the coaches and also join in the activities that were running all around the pitches.
Oxford United Women were there to chat about their new season, our Community team were there to put on skill sessions and there was a chance for fans to interview players in our pre-match build up to Saturday.
The players then spent an hour signing autographs and meeting all of the fans with captain Elliott Moore telling us
“It was a great day. We knew they were coming but it was still a nice surprise to see so many people down the side of the training pitches. The sun shone and there were loads of smiles so we really enjoyed being part of it.”
Liam Manning told us:
“What a great day. We were working towards Saturday’s game so there was a serious focus to training but then to meet everyone and hear them talking about the last couple of games and the season ahead was fantastic. We want to thank everyone who came along and we look forward to seeing them all either at Barnsley on Saturday or the next home game against Charlton.”
Oxford United would like to thank the fans who came aong today and made it such a special day. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.”
