Oxford United Women will be saying farewell this summer to two players who have played a huge part in the club’s progress.
Striker Beth Lumsden and midfielder Kayleigh Hines will both be leaving for new challenges and we wish them well and thank them for all they have done for the club.
Women’s Manager Liam Gilbert told us
“They have both been brilliant for us. It was such a boost to get Kayleigh back with us for a second spell and she is a wonderful role-model for any players starting out in the women’s game. Beth had an outstanding season last year and was our top scorer with 27 goals in 33 games, and again, she has been a pleasure to work with.
“I know it has been a tough decision for them because they have loved being here but both have now made up their minds to move on and they do so with all our best wishes.
“At the same time we are making our own plans and will be back for pre-season next week, ready for another successful season.”
