Oxford United are pleased to announce that our friends at Textures Flooring have continued their Ball Plinth Sponsorship for the remainder of the 2022/23 Season and will donate their branding space to an extremely worthy cause.
Having been initially wrapped in prominent Textures Flooring branding last season the ball plinth has been the centrepiece for the arrival of both teams just before kick-off with the referee taking the ball from the plinth as the players are led out from the changing rooms.
Last Christmas, Textures generously chose to rewrap the plinth for the Oxford Children’s Hospital for the remainder of last campaign.
This season Textures have chosen one of the club’s chosen Charity’s, YoungMinds to spread awareness for the work they do to support the increasingly important topic of mental health.
The YoungMinds branded plinth was out for the first time last night at the win against Charlton Athletic so if you missed it, look out for it on New Year’s Day when the U’s take on Exeter City.

“The Mental Health Awareness Day the club ran in partnership with YoungMinds was a fantastic way to increase the awareness and understanding of such an important issue in today’s society.
