Our Guard of Honour against Charlton tomorrow evening are Grove Challengers Under 11s
Managed by John Newton and coached by Jonny Dix the team have been together for seven years with a few new players joining over the past few years.
In this time the team have developed incredibly, on the pitch and off. A group of boys who are split over five different schools and barely knew each other are now a team of best mates who were brought together through their love of football.
This is reflected on the pitch, a team that stick together no matter what and have an unbelievable amount of passion for what they do.

‘It is a pleasure to coach such a great group of boys. Most of the time they make our jobs easy as they naturally know football and what to do, each one of them brings a different aspect to the team and the biggest thing they need to work on is their listening skills’
