Oxford United’s proud history will be the focus on Thursday (18th November) when club historian Martin Brodetsky will be giving a talk in the Makers Space at the Museum of Oxford on the club’s history.
The talk is called “From Headington to Wembley: the story of Oxford United, covering the history of Oxford United FC from its formation in 1893 as Headington FC to the present day” and Martin told us.
“The club has worked with the Museum of Oxford many times: there have been exhibitions and we have shared resources before. I was approached back in August about giving a talk and it has been interesting to put the history of the club in to one talk which hopefully appeals to fans and to people with a wider interest in the connection between the football club, Headington and the city itself."
The talk starts at 6pm and lasts for approximately an hour. Entry on the door is £5.
The Museum of Oxford is located at the Oxford Town Hall, St Aldates, OX1 1BX.
