The players and management of Oxford United would like to thank the magnificent Yellow Army for your support last night
"The atmosphere was incredible" captain Elliott Moore told us. "We have missed the fans all season and it was quite a moment to lead the team out and hear that noise again."
Man of the Match Mark Sykes echoed his captain's sentiments:
"It wasn't the result we wanted but it was fantastic to see everyone back at the game. They have been brilliant for us. We will go to Blackpool in the second leg and give it everything we have got to try and make it up to the fans for that result."
Karl Robinson said
"Football without fans is not the game we all fell in love with. Seeing so many familiar faces last night was such a reminder of what we have all missed. We thank everyone at the ground, everyone watching at home, and now we go to Blackpool with no away fans, hoping we can put in a performance that leaves everyone in Oxfordshire smiling."
Our photographers were all around the ground to welcome fans back. See if you can spot yourself in the Gallery above.
