Oxford United’s pre-season goes up a notch this evening when they travel to Selhurst Park to take on Premier League side Crystal Palace.
United, fresh from wins over Woking, Banbury United and Oxford City at the Oxford Sports Park this weekend get a chance to test themselves against Roy Hodgson’s Eagles and Karl Robinson told us
“I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be a very hard game for us, obviously, but you find out as much about your players in these type of games as you do in the three we have just played.”
Simon Eastwood landed awkwardly in the Banbury game and wasn’t risked against City 24 hours later but is expected to play the full 90 minutes tonight while James Henry and Mark Sykes are in contention after knocks and Jamie Hanson could feature for the first time on Saturday when the U’s are at home to QPR.
Kick off tonight is at 5.30pm and while the game is behind closed doors you can still watch it online as Palace are streaming the game for FREE on Palace TV.
