Oxford United defender Cameron Norman has today joined Walsall for an undisclosed fee.
Cameron, 23, made nine starts and three sub appearances for the U’s after joining from Kings Lynn in the summer but with Jamie Hanson doing well at right back and Sam Long also impressing in that position Cameron’s opportunities have been limited, as Karl Robinson told us:
“Cameron has had to be patient but feels he needs to be playing regularly, something we can’t promise him, so it works for all parties to let him move on. It hasn’t quite worked out for him but we wish him well at Walsall.”
