Three Oxford United loanees will miss out on the last game of the season at Luton on Saturday.
Jordan Graham, Samir Carruthers and Ahmed Kashi will return to Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sheffield United and Troyes respectively this week with Head Coach Karl Robinson thanking them for their efforts while on loan at the U’s:
“I have so much respect for all three. Samir has been very unlucky with injury this season- that started in the very first game of the season away at Barnsley- but Jordan and Kashi made a big impact when they joined in January. All of them are great professionals and it has been a pleasure to work with them.
“Kashi is slightly different because he is suspended and can’t play at Luton but with Jordan and Samir we said to them that we wanted to try and take a look at one or two other options in the last two games, including giving Rob Hall a return for example, and Kyran Lofthouse a chance on the bench. They understood that decision and won't be involved at the weekend.
“Luke Garbutt, Marcus Browne and Jerome Sinclair will stay with us for the week on their loans and we will be preparing properly for the last game; what a great game to look forward to. I want to thank Jordan, Ahmed and Samir for their efforts on behalf of Oxford United and we certainly wish them well for the future.”
