Oxford United forward Jack Payne has been recalled by Huddersfield Town.
The terms of Jack's loan allowed Huddersfield to recall him in January and he leaves with our thanks and best wishes. Manager Pep Clotet said:
"Jack has been a pleasure to work with. He has shown a lot of love for the club and for his profession and has given us a lot of good memories. He is a very talented footballer and Oxford have shown once again that we can help players to progress. On behalf of the club we wish Jack well for the future."
Jack told us:
"It has been great and I have loved my time at Oxford. It was a little bit out of the blue to be recalled but I came in today to say thanks to the players and management for making me feel so welcome and I want to thank the Oxford fans as well. They have been brilliant with me and I think it is a club that will continue to move forward. It has been fantastic to be a part of it."
