Oxford United have been drawn at home to Manchester City in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
This has generated plenty of excitement for U's fans looking forward to seeing their team take on the Premier League Champions and Carabao Cup holders.
"It's a great draw for the fans" Manager Karl Robinson told us. "It's probably the biggest draw you could get and I'm sure the interest is going to be huge. I'm really pleased for Tiger and the whole club and it will be a fantastic occasion which we are all looking forward to. There are some big games coming up first though and for now all our attention is focussed on getting a positive result at Sunderland tomorrow."
Ticket details for the Manchester City game will be finalised early next week, once the TV games have been decided, a date has been finalised and the two clubs have discussed ticket arrangements.
News will appear here on the official website as soon as we get it next week. Until then please do not call the Ticket Office asking for further details on this game.
It is worth pointing out that the priority for booking tickets will be season ticket holders first, then members: for full details on Membership click HERE
