Impressive youth team winger joins up with the pros
Oxford United are delighted to have offered another of their promising young players their first professional contract.
Jordan Graham, 18, is a winger or striker who has impressed for the youth side for the last three seasons after stepping up from the Academy’s education programme. Having again started this season strongly Jordan was this week offered a professional contract and the opportunity to step up and be part of the first team squad.
Head Coach Michael Appleton said:
“Jordan has a great attitude and plenty of ability. He is quick and a decent finisher and he has been on the fringe of the first team for a while now. He deserves his chance and we look forward to seeing him continue to develop.
”It's another fantastic example of the great work that Leon Blackmore Such and Andy Whing are doing with the under 18 side."
Jordan, who is currently on loan at Didcot Town, said
“It’s fantastic to be offered a pro deal. It has been hard work but I have loved every minute here so far and am determined to make the most of this chance.”
