Oxford United in the Community are pleased to introduce a new programme on match days aimed specifically at teenagers.
There is a new ‘Skill Zone’ located close to the revolving doors entrance to reception, where those aged 14-19 can practice their football skills through the cones that are laid out in the Future Football area before the match.
Participants will also be able to talk to members of the community team about what it’s like to work for a football club. Ellen Hopkins can talk about the club’s female programme; Lloyd Owers can discuss the role of being a community coach; while Head Coach Kelvin Alexis will be available to give information about playing in the Advance sixth-form programme next year.
This is a new programme that will evolve over time. Meanwhile please feel free to approach members of the team for a chat about any aspect of football.
