While it's generally the goalscorers who grab the headlines, every successful side needs those players at the back whose job, primarily, is to stop the opposition from scoring. Over the years, United have had some excellent exponents of the defensive arts, both in the full-back and centre-back positions.What we would like to know, though, is who was United's best?
