Under 18s start with Bristol Rovers
United's under 18s get their season under way this Saturday, mirroring the first team's start to the season with a home game against Bristol Rovers.
Chris Allen's youngsters will play their home games at the Oxford Sports and Social Club on Roman Way, with games kicking off at 11am on Saturdays. (For a full fixture list click HERE)
The under 18s have a few injury problems ahead of their first game with keeper Josh Hill out with a wrist injury and Josh Ashby (wrist), Aiden Hawtin (knee), James Clarke (ankle), Jermaine Udumaga (back), and Greg Hackett (heel) all struggling.
Chris told us:
"It's good to be back playing games and we're really looking forward to it. We have a few injuries at the moment but those players will come back and get their chance and in the meantime it gives us an early opportunity to look at some of our under 17s."
Scholars Sam Long (who captains the side this season), Marvin Ekipteta, David Lynn, Sam Humphreys, Duran Martin, James Roberts, Conor Ingram and Callum O'Dowda will all feature.
