Jacob started his career with West Ham United, where he developed through their academy system and featured as part of their matchday Premier League squad in the 2023/24 season.

Knightbridge also spent time on loan at Harrow Borough in the 2022/23 season and has earned one cap for the England Under-18 team. Head Coach, Des Buckingham, described Jacob as "a very promising young goalkeeper who we look forward to having at the club".
