The U's take on Peterborough United in a huge game in OX4 on Saturday 13th April (3pm), in what will be an exciting encounter in the race for the Sky Bet League One play-off places.
U's Boss Des Buckingham told OUFC.co.uk
"It was a good team performance on the weekend; four goals, a clean sheet following on from the win on Easter Monday to make it eight scored and none conceded in the last two.
"We've spoken about how we want to play. We're starting to see that now with players that we wanted back, fit and able to show real, clear understanding of how we want to do things and demonstrating their ability to do that extremely well.
"We want to dominate the ball. We want to score as many goals as we can. We need to make sure that we build on that playing style, build on what we've shown both away and at home.
"The squad's in a good place; it's a close group and a together group, and with the fans that have been behind us brilliantly all season, we’re in a really good place. We've got four games left, three of them at home and the fans can and will play a major role in making sure we all try and get where we want to get to.
"I drove to Peterborough last night to watch their game and got back just after midnight. We know what to expect from a good Peterborough side, but it was good to go and get your eyes on it and see it for yourself.
"We'll continue to adapt and change things as and where we need but we won't come away too much from the kind of the football we want to play, and we'll take that into Peterborough. We need to make sure we're as organized and well set up as we have been over the last couple of games going into Saturday, and we will be."
