Oxford United welcome Kyle Edwards back into the squad as they resume league action at Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
The on-loan Ipswich winger has been missing for the last few weeks with a hamstring injury but has made a full recovery and been in training all week ahead of the trip to the Completely-Suzuki Stadium this weekend.
“Kyle has been involved all week and trained well but they all have “ Head Coach Des Buckingham told us. “He'll be in contention while Marcus Browne is not far off either.
"It's been a good week. I stood back and watched training on Monday rather than get too involved. It allowed me to see how things worked, give us all some breathing space, and then join in and work with the other coaches from Tuesday onwards. The players’ attitude has been spot on; all of them.
“The first week has been very enjoyable. I feel a lot more settled now and I think that’s true for the players now we have worked together and we have spent time building relationships. It has been a continuation of what has been happening before but also trying to bring in things that I believe will continue to help us.
"It’s a hard first game. Since the new Manager went in Cheltenham have become much harder to beat, it’s a game some would class as a derby and we will have a sold out away end full of fans going to support us, a really hungry group of players who want to pick up from where they left off before, and a Manager going into his first game and really looking forward to it.”
