Oxford United Women are delighted to announce the signing of Zoe Barratt for the 2023/24 campaign.
The 20-year-old forward, who can play anywhere across the front three, joins from MK Dons Women with a wealth of experience in the third tier of women’s football.
Before MK Dons, Barratt played for Ipswich Town scoring 12 goals in 42 appearances for the Tractor Girls, and the versatile attacker has also represented England at youth level.
Zoe has been with the squad during pre-season and scored the opening goal in a friendly against Abingdon United Women.
Zoe told OUFC.co.uk: "Liam's a great coach and I can't wait to learn more from him and develop as a player. It's a great club, I love the way Oxford play and I think it really suits me. I can't wait to get out on the pitch.”
Manager, Liam Gilbert, added: “Zoe is a hugely promising young talent, and we are very pleased to get the deal done. She’s really impressed in pre-season and is an exciting player to watch. She shows a lot of maturity in her decision making for someone her age.”
The U’s kick off their season on August 20th, when Zoe will face her former side MK Dons away on the opening day of the FAWNL Southern Premier Division campaign.
