Oxford United forward Yanic Wildschut has left the club by mutual consent.
The 31-year-old Suriname international had to be patient last season after suffering an injury in the final pre-season game, but after making his debut in December played a part in 23 games scoring once.
However he hasn’t featured in the match squad this season and leaves to find a new club, as Liam Manning told us:
“Yanic is an excellent pro and leaves on good terms. He wants to be playing games and we can’t guarantee that here so this allows him to find a new club and we wish him well.”
