Oxford United started their week with the annual Team Photo at Blenheim Palace this morning.
The U’s have enjoyed some fantastic locations for their team picture for the last few years including the Radcliffe Camera, University College and the Pitt Rivers Museum, but an early morning visit to historic Blenheim was the perfect location for this year’s picture as Karl Robinson told us.
“I think that’s the best location for any team picture I have been involved with. The sun shone, the buildings and the grounds looked spectacular and we thank Blenheim for working with us to make it happen.
“It’s important that the players know about the whole of Oxfordshire- we had a talk about the history of the Palace this morning - and it’s just one of the cultural things we have planned so we get a view of not just the city but all of what makes Oxfordshire so special.”
We'll have the official version of the Team Photo available soon, with a poster available for Junior Yellows
Our thanks to the staff at Blenheim Palace and to the sponsors and Associate Directors who attended.
