We would like to thank everyone who came along to the Bangkok Glass Training Centre last night for a very enjoyable and informative #HerGameToo event.
The evening saw new Women’s General Manager Gemma Sims, Women’s Captain Lauren Haynes, Coach Kath Faulkner, Head of Medical Amy Cranston, and the evening’s host, Robyn Cowen, sharing stories about their path in to working in football and the challenges they faced initially.
Around 30 people were there to meet the panel and ask questions, with First Team Manager Karl Robinson there to kick the evening off. Amy Cranston told us
"It was great to meet everyone and I hope everyone who came along enjoyed it as much as I did. I think it's important we keep telling our stories and offer support because there are so many girls and women out there who, like all of us, love football and might be thinking of a career in the sport. If we can offer ideas and guidance then that's only going to help."
There will be a #HerGameToo game later in the season and you can watch the whole evening here:
Our thanks to Grace Bailey and the OUSP for organising such an inspiring evening.
