Oxford United Women have passed the three-year mark as they remain unbeaten at home in the League since the 10th of November 2019.
Court Place Farm has become a true home for United Women, as the last time they lost at the ground in the League was 1,110 days ago against Keynsham Town
Manager Liam Gilbert was in charge when they lost and has since built a formidable fortress
“We love playing here and I imagine no one wants to come and play us here. It’s a testament to the fans who make this such a special place but also to the fact that we feel settled here, the staff are amazing and we know we can play how we like to.”
“We want to keep that record going for as long as possible, it’s given us such a solid foundation to work on in the League this season and we just have to hope our away form can be as good! The players love it here and have built an unbelievable relationship with the fans and the community, and we keep seeing that growing which is an even bigger win,” said Gilbert.
The U’s next scheduled home game is on the 29th of January in the Southern Premier Division as they welcome Plymouth to Court Place Farm.
They now look ahead to two away cup games, travelling to Liskeard Athletic FC Women in the WFA Cup this weekend, and Portsmouth Women in the FAWNL League Cup the following Sunday.
