Oxford United winger Jodi Jones joins up with the Malta squad this week ahead of two home international friendlies.
Jodi, who made his debut in Malta’s last match has been called up to face Greece on Thursday and then the Republic of Ireland on Sunday.
We will be unavailable for United’s game at Woking in the FA Cup on Wednesday and this Saturday’s home game against Forest Green Rovers in Sky Bet League 1.
Meanwhile three of United’s young players have continued to gain experience on loan.
Goalkeeper Eddie Brearey has returned from his loan at Thame United to join Evesham while winger Will Owens has extended his loan at North Leigh for another month. Slavi Sasov has also extended his loan at Banbury United for a further month.
