U's Team Up With Charlton To Help Fight Prostate Cancer

Oxford United are teaming up with hosts Charlton Athletic when the teams meet at the Valley next month to help save lives with a simple blood test available to fans of both teams.

Prostate cancer is now the third most common cancer in the UK. Early diagnosis is crucial but symptoms do not usually appear until the prostate is large enough to effect the urethra.

A PSA test will be available to fans of both clubs from 12pm - 3pm on Saturday 19th February

The PSA test is a blood test that can help diagnose prostate problems, including prostate cancer.

These will be available in the Casino in the West Stand at the Valley for just a £10 donation

The test is primarily aimed at those aged 45 and over, although it will also be open to people under 45.

Pre-booking is essential - Take one minute to CLICK HERE and register, spend two minutes pre-match taking the test, and who knows, it might just save your life.

Unfortunately on the day bookings will not be available.

Please share this booking link far and wide to your grandad’s, dad, brothers, uncles sons etc if they are going to the game. These testing days really do save lives.
