PREVIEW Oxford United Women v London Bees

Oxford United Women return to National League action this weekend when they take on London Bees at Court Place Farm on Sunday (2pm KO).

It will be two weeks since their last game, the 5-0 win over Swindon in the National League Cup was followed by a blank weekend.

TEAM NEWS

United Boss Liam Gilbert was very impressed with the team performance in that cup win and hopes it is something that continues onto Sunday despite the short spell without a game.

Gilbert said: “I was impressed with how patient we were, and how we probed and found gaps in between the lines.

“The final pass could have been a bit slicker at times but some of our football was superb.

“The Nil is also important, and we believe in keeping clean sheets and we have been happy with that.”

United will look to continue their excellent home form at the start of the season. They have won all 4 home games across league and cup scoring 15 goals and conceding just once.

THE OPPOSITION

London Bees go into the game level on points with United, albeit having played 3 games more. They recorded an impressive 4-0 win over Gillingham last time out and won 5-1 at Milton Keynes Dons the game before that so are in good form.

With a warm welcome always assured at Court Place Farm it should be a great afternoon's football.Come along and support the U's
