Oxford United’s Will Owens has become the latest young player to go out on loan to gain experience.
Will, a second year scholar, has been in impressive form for the youth team where he has been used predominantly on the left wing although he has also played a number of games at left-back this season.
He has joined Biggleswade Town on a month’s work experience and is likely to feature for the first time on Boxing Day where he could be in direct opposition against his youth team colleague, right-back Ben Watt who is currently on loan at opponents St Ives Town.
