Tuesday evening will see the return of 2,000 fans to the Kassam Stadium after the successful trial game against Hull City and the Papa John’s Trophy win over Forest Green Rovers.
Both of those matches saw around 1,000 fans safely watch the game under current covid guidelines and we thank those supporters for abiding by the new rules, which in turn means we can have twice as many people with us on Tuesday.
Those 2,000 are season ticket holders and those fans have been emailed their tickets which need to be printed out at home or stored on your mobile to be shown on entry to the ground.
Tickets are not transferable: spot checks will be in place to make sure that the named person is sitting in the right place and all fans MUST read the regulations which were emailed to them as a condition of them attending the game. They can be found HERE.
Many fans have been discussing the allocation of tickets, in particular for the hospitality areas at the ground. For clarity, members of the 1893 Lounge (formerly, in the main, the Manor and Maurice Evans Lounges) were given the option of taking up their places and 146 have done so.
Executive Box holders can currently only bring up to 50% of their guests provided those guests are within their household or support bubble.
The Boardroom is limited to just 20, roughly 50% of the usual places. Away fans are not allowed to attend.
The full breakdown of places for Tuesday is
East Stand 700
North Stand 500
South Stand Lower 250
South Stand Upper 430 (including up to 150 1893 Club members)
Boardroom 20
Executive Boxes- 100
In addition up to 30 press and scouts will be in attendance plus club staff and players in the Red Zone around the tunnel area.
When the Ticket Office opened this morning 53 fans had contacted the club to say that they could not attend on Tuesday. Those tickets will be reallocated today: if you cannot attend then please email ticketoffice@oufc.co.uk or call 01865 337533 as soon as possible so we can give your ticket to another fan.
The ballot for tickets for Boxing Day against AFC Wimbledon will be held on Wednesday and weighted in favour of fans who missed out tomorrow night.
