Oxford United in the Community have appealed to supporters to help generate funds for the charity while Christmas shopping online – for free.
You can support Oxford United in the Community’s vital work across the county by signing up to Easy Fundraising, an online fundraising platform which has partnerships with thousands of retailers.
Funds raised from the scheme will be used to help Oxford United in the Community deliver more positive impact across Oxfordshire, including maintaining the current Loneliness Project.
Chris Lowes, Head of Oxford United in the Community, said: “Fund raising has been challenging this year and like most charities we have had to adapt the way we raise funds during the pandemic to enable us to continue to help our community.
“Normally we would have a Christmas raffle and other fundraisers on a matchday. But due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we have taken our fundraising efforts online.
“The great thing about Easy Fundraising is people can help us do more in the community without having to make a direct personal donation.
“Anyone who can sign up and take part will help us make more of a difference during this challenging time.”
