Oxford United midfielder Shandon Baptiste has been called up to the Grenada squad for four games in the CONCACAF Nations League.
Shandon has been called in to the squad for:
10th October: French Guiana v Grenada
13th October: Grenada v French Guiana
14th November: St Kitts & Nevis v Grenada
17th November: Grenada v St Kitts & Nevis
Our congratulations to Shandon, although he will miss our home games against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 15th October and Ipswich Town on Saturday 16th November.
Regulations state that if three first team players are called up for international duty then clubs can postpone the game and on the last international weekend United had Mark Sykes called up for Northern Ireland and Ben Woodburn involved for Wales.
Our opponents on 16th November, Ipswich, postponed their game last time due to international call ups while we also have a future game against Portsmouth in March scheduled for an international weekend and they also had the requisite number of players called up last time.
At this stage all fixtures remain unchanged but should any become postponed then fans are reminded that match tickets purchased in advance would be available for a rearranged date, or a full refund would be available provided the match tickets were returned to the Ticket Office before midday the day before the match.
