Oxford United are pleased to announce that Zaki Nuseibeh is to become Vice Chairman of the football club.
Zaki has been a member of the board of directors since September 2018 and will now help the Chairman in overseeing the implementation of the club’s strategic commercial and financial objectives. He told us:
“It is an absolute honour to be asked by Tiger to take up this role. We have fantastic people across the club , and we are starting to have the infrastructure we need to take our club to the next level. We’re only at the start of a long and ambitious journey and having already interacted with many talented and passionate members of staff, I am confident we have many of the ingredients already in place. I look forward to working with Niall and the rest of the leadership team as we continue to drive the club forward.”
Chairman Sumrith 'Tiger' Thanakarnjanasuth added
“I am delighted that Zaki has agreed to step in in our collective effort to move our club forward. He has taken on a more active role since the summer and I believe formalising this will be of enormous help. Many of our staff members have already worked with Zaki over the last few months and can see his passion and love for the club.”
