U18s Face Cheltenham Town at Home

United U18s face Cheltenham Town at Northcourt Road on Saturday as they look to continue their good form (KO 11am)

Unbeaten in four games in the Youth Alliance League, the youngsters have enjoyed good form in recent weeks which sees United sit fourth in the Youth Alliance League table.

Whilst midfielder Jack Stevens is sidelined with a broken toe, Slavi Spasov made significant progress in his recovery last week at a training camp at St George’s Park. The forward told us:

“It was intense but the facilities there were incredible. It’s been tough for me mentally and physically during my time out, but I’m back out running this week and I can’t wait to be back out there with the boys.”

You can listen to the full interview with Slavi in the Preview Show over on iFollow.

Lead PDP coach Leon Blackmore-Such told us:

“Obviously We just want to keep the run going. The boys are playing well and some featured in the U23s squad in the week but as a group the U18s are pushing and we’re getting a solid foundation and a good team structure.”
