Oxford United U18s face Bristol Rovers at home on Saturday at the Oxford United Training Ground (11am).
After a fantastic record-breaking week for the club, with Nico Jones becoming the club’s youngest ever captain and Tyler Goodrham becoming the club’s youngest ever player during the U’s 4-1 win over Crawley Town in the Leasing.com Trophy, attention turns back to the Youth Alliance League this weekend as the young U’s look to continue their good form.
United’s youngsters currently sit 2nd in the league, level on points with league-leaders AFC Bournemouth and will be looking to make it four successive wins as they take on Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
Lead PDP coach Leon Blackmore-Such told us:
“Tuesday was obviously a very proud night for the club with Nico and Tyler both breaking club records and to see seven academy graduates in total finish a competitive game for the first team. Now our focus is back on the league and we will hopefully take the momentum of the last few weeks into the game and continue the good run.”
