Commercial Opportunities with OUFC In The Community

Oxford United and Oxford United in the Community are delighted to offer a brand new joint commercial opportunity, giving a business the opportunity to play a major role in everything the club and the charity do with junior supporters across Oxfordshire.

Due to our long term shirt sponsorship deal with Singha, this opens up a two year minimum opportunity for the club and the Trust to invite a business to support their joint initiatives to drive youth participation and attendance in football within the County.

Oxford United in the Community works with over 3,500 children and young people per year across Oxfordshire to promote physical and mental health, support better outcomes in education, and safeguard the vulnerable in our communities, via the power of football.

Oxford United has been awarded Family Excellence status by the EFL in 7 of the 8 seasons that the scheme has been in operation.

This joint opportunity includes:

• Lead Corporate Partner to Oxford United in the Community

• Official Club Partner of Oxford United (with all associated sponsorship benefits)

• Logo on all Oxford United in the Community Soccer Course bibs

• Logo on all Under 18 replica club shirts

• Sponsorship of Family Area at Grenoble Road

• Sponsorship of 3 Academy Age Groups

• Work closely with the club and Oxford United in the Community supporting all of these joint initiatives and making your company synonymous with the work we do

Speaking of the opportunity, Commercial and Marketing Director Matt Everett said:

“Obviously with UK law this means that currently junior replica kits are sold without a sponsor. We are also in the process of having a completely joined up approach between the club and the work we do with our junior fans, and the fantastic outreach work the charity do to ensure we can attract and retain the next generation of U’s supporters.

"This is a unique opportunity and I believe a fantastic one for a company to align itself across the board with all of our junior and family activities, and is the first time we have ever been able to offer such a sponsorship package. We are really excited by this opportunity, and look forward to discussing further with any company who would be interested in finding out more”.

Chris Lowes, Head of Operations at Oxford United in the Community, said:

“Oxford United’s charity is at the heart of the community and our team strive to inspire youngsters to be the best they can be via the power of football. We visit schools daily and engage with thousands of children a year and help them improve not just their football skills, but their life skills and encourage following a healthy lifestyle.

"By partnering with the football club and Academy on this exciting partnership opportunity we believe we can make an even greater difference across our community. We are passionate about what we do and would encourage companies to get involved and play a major role in helping to inspire even more youngsters.”
