Fleetwood boss John Sheridan lost his first match in eight matches in charge at Rotherham on Saturday and will be looking for his side to bounce back when they face the U's tonight.
"One of two players looked tired at the weekend," Sheridan told Fleetwood's official website.
"The system and the players have done well since I've been here, and I will be looking for that on Tuesday. It doesn't bother me when we play, I know I'd rather play instead of train and it is a good game for us after the defeat at Rotherham.
"We've lost one in eight games which isn't bad, but I now have to make sure that I pick the best team to go and pick up all the points."
"The lads have done brilliantly, however we have to be aware of the situation we are in. I do believe we need another win or another two points to give us that security, and the belief to stay in the league.
"It is key that we move on from the last game, but I want us to win as many games as we can and the quicker we can do that, the better for us as a club."
"We didn't play on the front foot on Saturday, nor did we create enough chances. I just want to move on from Saturday and get ready for Oxford."
