Striker Dominic Poleon notched his fourth goal of the season to set Bradford on the way to a 3-1 success at previous leaders Peterborough on Saturday as the Bantams went up to fourth in League One
Poleon said: "There was a bit of criticism early on that we were getting the wins but not playing particularly well. So it's nice that we've played well in the last two games and still won.
"Teams who do well in this division are ones that know how to win. Bad game or good, it doesn't matter. We've kind of got that. Fans want to be excited by the team playing well but the players want to get the win.
"It's all about the result and I'll take a scrappy win every day."
"There's confidence all over the pitch. This is a tight division, it's about who turns up and we're doing that."
Adam Chicksen will miss the game after his late red card on Saturday and boss Stuart McCall admitted that discipline will be another key factor this season
"We've mentioned it in the dressing room," he said. "I don't mind if players are getting booked in honest challenges. We play at a tempo and sometimes you can be a split-second away.
"But last year our discipline in terms of back chat and things like kicking the ball away was spot on. We don't want to lose that."
