Oxford United's first team might not have a game tomorrow, but you can still get your football fix as both the youth team and Oxford United Women have home games over the weekend.
The Under-18s have a big match on Saturday at Abingdon United's Northcourt Road ground (kick off 11am) when they welcome league leaders Exeter City. United are currently third in the FA Youth Alliance South West, nine points adrift of the Grecians. However, the U's - who are unbeaten in their last 10 outings - have two games in hand on their opponents so a win tomorrow will put them within touching distance of top spot.
Admission to the game is free and there is always a friendly welcome at Abingdon United.
Then on Sunday the women's team entertain Doncaster Rovers Belles in the Continental Tyres Cup at Oxford City's Court Place Farm (2pm kick off). The Belles are top of WSL 2 but United held them to a 2-2 draw in the league earlier this season in a very entertaining game.
Admission is £5 for adults, £2 for over-65s and under-16s, £10 for a family ticket (two adults and two U16s) and just £1 for Oxford United season ticket holders. Come along and take advantage of the excellent facilities on offer at the stadium.
