30th Anniversary lunch sees Milk Cup heroes reunited
Spaces are becoming very limited for the Milk Cup Winners’ Legends Lunch ahead of our home game against Hartlepool United on Saturday 23rd April.
The event marks the 30th anniversary of the U’s beating QPR 3-0 at Wembley on 20th April 1986.
Skipper Malcolm Shotton, Gary Briggs, Dave Langan, Les Phillips, Trevor Hebberd, Alan Judge, Steve Hardwick, Neil Slatter, Jeremy Charles, Andy Thomas, coach Ray Graydon and manager Maurice Evans’ wife Mary and son Paul have all confirmed that they will be joining us for an event hosted by Peter Rhoades-Brown, as has talismanic striker Builly Hamilton, with the remaining players hoping to join us subject to work commitments.
