Oxfordshire businesses get behind the U's
Oxford United will be getting great backing from two of their biggest supporters at Wembley this Sunday when they take on Barnsley in the final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.The U’s will take to the field wearing the stylish Anthem Jackets, and for this match and the remainder of the season the jackets will be sponsored by our good friends at Textures Flooring, who also sponsor the Legends Club lounges at the Kassam Stadium for every home match.
Andrew Hester of Textures Flooring commented “We have been working with the club on a bigger scale this season and were delighted to take the opportunity see our logo on the iconic Oxford United Anthem Jackets on such a big occasion. We have over thirty people in our group going on Sunday and will be cheering the lads all the way.”
There will be a familiar name on United shorts as well this Sunday when Buildbase reappear on United’s kit as short sponsors. Buildbase will be hoping to be a good omen for the U’s, having been shirt sponsors at the club’s last Wembley visit, the 3-1 win over York City back in 2010.
“It’ll be great seeing the Buildbase logo back on the Oxford United kit” said Craig Tarrant, Branch Manager at Buildbase in Cowley. Craig added “We bring customers to every home game in our Executive Box and are taking a full coach to Wembley for the big game on Sunday. This was a brilliant opportunity for us to show that Buildbase are still big supporters of the U’s.”
