Oxford City and County Bowls Club hosts a great day for fans
This Wednesday will see a Fans Forum as part of a link up with Oxford City and County Bowls club who will also be hosting an afternoon of bowls for fans, staff and players.
Chairman Darryl Eales, Chief Executive Mark Ashton and Head Coach Michael Appleton will all be on hand to meet fans and answer questions, following very successful forums recently at Witney Lakes, Abingdon and Bicester.
The event consists of:
• 3pm – Schools, local to the City and County Bowls Club, will be invited to come and try out bowls. Members of the Oxford United squad will be there to join in, as well as mascots Olly and Olivia.
• 6pm to 8pm – Fans will be invited to play in teams of 3 (with OUFC players and staff members making up a team of 4) in an informal competition, with prizes available.
• 8pm – Fans Forum with fans able to ask questions to Darryl, Mark and Michael
The bar will be open throughout and food will be available to purchase from the club kitchen. The event is FREE so come along and join us for what promises to be a great event.
If you are coming along to play bowls then flat shoes should be worn, and if you get the bowls bug then the City and County Bowls Club are hosting a home nations tournament this Saturday and Sunday so pop along and see how the experts play.
