Callum called up for two international matches
Oxford United winger Callum O’Dowda has been called up for the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad to play two games.
Callum, who first joined the squad at the end of last season, has been included once again to play Qatar at Bury’s Gigg Lane on 4th September and then the Under-21 Qualifier away against Andorra on 8th September. As a result he will miss United’s away game at Bristol Rovers on Sunday 6th September.
Callum told us:
“I have really enjoyed my time with the Ireland squad and am looking forward to the two games. It’s a great honour to be involved.”
