U's set to shuffle the pack at Hartlepool
United will shuffle the pack as they travel to Hartlepool on Saturday.
The U’s are already without injured skipper Jake Wright with a groin problem and striker James Constable due to a foot injury, and will now be without stand-in captain Andy Whing and striker Dave Kitson through suspension this weekend.
Whing misses three games after a straight red card against Chesterfield while Kitson sits out one game after collecting five yellow cards this season.
Manager Chris Wilder told Yellow Player.
“We are missing those four plus Jon Meades, Max Crocombe and possibly Ty Marsh as well but we will just get on with it and one or two players will get their chance to come into the side and show what they can do.
“Ty has started jogging, Jake, Beano and Meadesy are doing well and will not be far behind him so we have players to come back and strengthen us. Sean Rigg worked very hard to get back ahead of schedule and he is back in the squad and I am sure the other lads are just as focussed and will work just as hard to make themselves available.”
