Striker to miss next four games
United's appeal against the red card shown to James Constable at Wimbledon has been unsuccessful and the striker will now miss four games.
James was dismissed for violent conduct in the 70th minute of the game at Kingsmeadow on 29th December. The club appealed against this decision, supported by video evidence but the appeal was not upheld by the Football Association.
Since he has already served a suspension for a red card earlier this season James will now miss the next four games, starting with this Saturday's home FA Cup game against Sheffield United.
