United players to visit the Oxford Children's Hospital
United’s players will once again be spreading Christmas Cheer tomorrow as they visit the Oxford Children’s Hospital ahead of Boxing Day’s Big Match.
United are long term partners of the Children’s Hospital and the first team squad will be visiting tomorrow afternoon to meet staff and patients.
Supporters have donated an incredible array of toys and gifts for the players to give to those on the wards while the players have also made generous donations to a kitty to buy DVDs and games for use on the wards over Christmas.
Some of the patients will sadly be spending Christmas at the hospital and all of the toys, gifts and games may just help them and their families through a difficult festive period. The club would like to thank all of the fans who have helped with this year’s Christmas presents.
The visit is another of United’s Christmas Specials following the Choir of first team, youth team and women’s players helping to celebrate Christmas in the town centre.
The Christmas period will culminate in the Big Match on Boxing Day when United welcome Plymouth Argyle in Skybet league 2.
Tickets are selling fast for a bumper crowd at this game and with spaces starting to fill up book today to join Oxford’s biggest Christmas Party. Call 01865 337533 or visit www.oufctickets.co.uk to join the Boxing day fun.
