Striker David Kitson available for trip to York on Saturday
United received a boost this morning with confirmation that striker David Kitson will be available to play at York this Saturday.Kitson, who has scored two last-minute goals in his last two league matches for United, was booked on Saturday against Dagenham & Redbridge, and many thought that, under the totting-up procedure, that would mean a two-match ban.
However, the FA have confirmed today that the two yellow cards Kitson received when he was dismissed against Exeter on 22nd October do not count because he has already served his punishment for those offences. Therefore Kitson remains one booking away from a two-game suspension.
He will be available as United head for Bootham Crescent on Saturday. For full ticket and travel details for Saturday click HERE.
