O'Brien debut

Luke O'Brien starts against his former club

Former Bradford City left-back Luke O'Brien makes his first appearance for Oxford United against his former club this afternoon. O'Brien, who joined United as a free agent earlier this month, will play at left-back, with Tony Capaldi starting in midfield, alongside Lee Cox and Simon Heslop.

The rest of the defence remains the same, with Damian Batt, Michael Raynes and former Bantam Jake Wright lining up in front of Ryan Clarke.

Two other changes to United's side from Cheltenham last Tuesday see Alfie Potter coming back into the starting line-up in place of the injured Jon-Paul Pittman, while James Constable starts instead of Deane Smalley.

United: Clarke, Batt, Raynes, Wright, O'Brien, Heslop, Cox, Capaldi, Potter, Constable, Craddock

Subs: Smalley, Rigg, Leven, Brown, Worley, Boateng, Marsh
