Midfielder suffers foot injury
United look set to be without midfielder Adam Chapman as they welcome Bradford City to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.
Chapman sustained a foot injury in the game at Cheltenham on Tuesday night and had a scan today to assess the full extent of the injury.
He is rated very doubtful for Saturday's game, while striker Jon-Paul Pittman will be out for the next couple of weeks at least after picking up a hamstring injury just ten minutes into Tuesday night's game.
Manager Chris Wilder said:
"It's another blow because Adam has been pretty consistent this season. We will wait on the scan but it doesn't look great. Hopefully JP's injury isn't too severe and he will be back sooner rather than later. We will just get on with it, keep working hard and make sure we have a team that can go out and win the game against Bradford."
United welcomed Lee Cox back into the side at Cheltenham, with Peter Leven making a first substitute appearance of the season and both should feature again as the U's take on the Bantams.
"Nobody is going to give us anything, we know that, but if we win then we are just one point behind the side currently in fifth so we will give it everything and hopefully get an important win under our belts" Chris said.
