Oxford United make their second visit in quick succession to the CBS Arena to take on Coventry City this evening, this time for their Carabao Cup second round tie (7.45pm kick off).
OXFORD UNITED
The U's are likely to make a number of changes to the side that played at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship on Saturday as they look to give minutes to players that might have missed out. Men's First Team Assistant Coach Chris Hackett said: "It's a challenging game but one that the group is looking forward to. There are players that can come into the group now. We saw in the Peterborough game that there are boys who maybe haven't played in the first couple of games but who are training really well, waiting for that opportunity. There's an opportunity again for them in this game, as well as for players who played at the weekend to go and test themselves against a good Coventry team." You can see the full interview with Chris HERE.
Cameron Brannagan has recovered from illness and is available for selection, although skipper Elliott Moore might have to wait until the weekend before he is ready to return to action.
COVENTRY CITY
The Sky Blues are also likely to make changes to the side that drew 1-1 at Bristol City on Saturday, with Mark Robins having the strength in depth to rotate his squad without weakening it significantly.
Coventry have failed to progress beyond the second round of the competition in the last 11 seasons.
